Mental Health Promotions Campaign
The MHPC is a countywide multimedia campaign that helps families, educators, health care providers and young people recognize mental health problems and seek or recommend appropriate services. As of January 2011, BHRS and our partners will initiate the campaign planning process. The campaign will include mental health and wellness messages aimed at reducing stigma associated with mental health and mental health issues co-occurring with substance abuse. The goals will be to increase the public’s awareness of behavioral health concerns and to provide information on how to develop and maintain emotional wellness and resiliency.
